This acronym stands for Advanced Placement. A secondary school program in the United States and Canada sponsored by the College Board, which offers courses for high school students which generally correspond to undergraduate university courses. A student achieve a review of 3 or 5 score is admitted to the College of choice of the student. Participating colleges decide or not to grant credit or placement for the work of the AP in high school.
